Folks’ Day – Tuesday, November 22nd  

We hope you’ll plan to join us at our free Family Fall Festival from 5:30-8:00pm! Activities include a photo booth, giant bubbles, limbo, Motion Tulsa obstacle course, corn box and more! Be sure to bring money (cash/cards accepted) for food trucks and Middle School will be selling honey, water and snacks. Food truck offerings this year will be from Country Q BBQ Truck, Inheritance Juicery Vegan Food Truck, and Josh’s Sno Cone Truck!

We hope you’ll join us for this parent and staff social ‘Under the Stars’ on our Playscape. This is a great opportunity for parents to get to know each other and have fun – and this year’s event’s theme is “Cheeseburger in Paradise”! So…set your mind to island time! Bring your beach chair and chill out with Undercroft parents and staff on the playscape and enjoy a low-key casual evening filled with music, cheeseburgers & fries, margarita & pina colada flavored (non-alcoholic) frozen drink machines, and more! (Please bring your own alcoholic mixer or beverage of choice). T-shirts, shorts & flip-flops are most welcome for this night. We look forward to reconnecting – and maybe even find that lost shaker of salt! (Adults only please) No RSVP necessary.

Please join us, Thursday, September 22nd at OU Tulsa Perkins Auditorium, as we host guest speaker Chip DeLorenzo! Chip has been in Montessori education for over 25 years as both a teacher and Head of School, and is a Certified Positive Discipline Trainer. This free two hour workshop is for our Undercroft parents who are looking for long-term parenting skills that will encourage their children to think for themselves, become more responsible, and have greater respect for themselves and others. The workshop is based on the best-selling Positive Discipline books by Jane Nelsen, Ed.D., and will introduce parents to tools that get to the core of misbehavior and invite cooperation.

Do you want to deepen your Montessori knowledge, and learn how to apply Montessori principles at home? The American Montessori Society (AMS) is offering a six week course for early childhood families called “You and Your Child’s Montessori Education: Early Childhood”. This class is designed for families with children 2 ½ – 6 years old who are interested in incorporating the Montessori philosophy into their day-to-day lives and parenting approach.
