Fundraising Programs

Undercroft Montessori School is proud to offer an affordable tuition and a quality Montessori education to families representing most income levels. By fund-raising, we are able to keep our tuition increases as low as possible. Our fund-raising efforts include our Annual Giving Program and a major fund-raising project.

Our Annual Giving Program is an essential annual appeal made to our board members, staff, families and alumni to help fund unexpected expenses not covered by our operating budget. Representatives from our parent body coordinate the program. The solicitation is sent in the fall and the tax-deductible donations may be pledged through the end of the school year. Undercroft encourages 100 percent participation by the board, staff and parent body.  Of course, your decision to participate in annual giving is voluntary and personal.

Because of our major fund-raising event, Undercroft is able to continue offering programs in Art, Music, Library and Foreign Language and to continue our before and after school care programs. The fund-raising project is organized by a group of Undercroft volunteers and other friends in the community. The fund-raiser takes place during the school year at whatever time is best for that particular project. Undercroft is proud to share its profit, when possible, with other nonprofit organizations that benefit children or families in the Tulsa area.

Other smaller fund-raisers are scheduled at various times during the school year.  Participate in as many or as few of the listed options as you wish.  We hope that the diversity offered will allow all that choose to participate an opportunity to match your needs with what we offer.

Merchant  programs are another way our school earns funds and computer items.  Currently we participate in
Campbell's Labels for Education, Boxtops for Education, Office Depot's Free Supplies For Your School and Target Guest Card rebate program. If you would like information on any of these programs, or are a merchant that would like to participate, feel free to call or email Shari Kimery.   The Internet shopping program we are registered with is schoolpop.com.  Local merchants offer special shopping days from time to time and those are posted in our UnderCurrents newsletter and here on the website. We also earn money by recycling paper, inkjet and laser printer cartridges and cell phones.
