What grade levels are offered?
Undercroft offers multi-age level classrooms through 15 years of age. The primary program groups children ages 3 to 6 in each classroom. The lower elementary classroom includes children 6 to 9 years old, the equivalent of grades first through third in a traditional school. The upper elementary classroom includes ages 9 to 12 , the equivalent of fourth through sixth grades in a traditional school. The middle school classroom includes ages 12 through 15, the equivalent of seventh and eighth grades in a traditional school.

There are four primary classrooms, three lower elementary classrooms, two upper elementary classrooms and one middle school classroom.
What is the enrollment population?
There are approximately 212 students at Undercroft. The primary classrooms have 21 children each. The lower elementary has 22 children in each class. Each of those classrooms has two Montessori trained guides (teacher). The upper elementary has two classes of approximately 22 students each. The middle school program has 17 students with one Montessori trained guide and one teacher's aide. The size of our school is one of the reasons that we can forge such strong relationships with each family at the school.
How long is the school year?
Undercroft begins near the end of August and finishes at the end of May or in early June. We offer summer school sessions according to demand and staffing. Due to construction schedules, Summer school will not be offered during the Summer of 2008. If families will need care during the summer and other breaks through the school year, it would be wise to research the possibilities early in the spring. There are many summer programs now available in Tulsa .
