10-Sided Dice Our most popular dice include the 10-sided dice which are color coded to the Montessori Place Value system. A set of 4 includes 2 green, 1 blue and 1 red 10-sided dice. The dice are numbered 0-9, thus allowing a child to roll any number from 0-9999. These dice are used in conjunction with materials such as number composition with the golden beads, the teen and tens boards, the Bank Game, the Bead Frame, operations such as addition and multiplication as well as teacher made activities. Four options are available, jumbo opaque, small opaque, small transparent, and small pearlized.10-Sided Tens We
also offer blue, 10-sided dice numbered 00-90.
When combined with a green 10-sided die, numbers 0-99 are possible.
These dice are used with the 100 board, number composition and exchange
activities.
Directional Dice Directional
dice are 8-sided dice that are labeled with Cardinal compass points or Inter-cardinal
compass points. Mapping activities
and compass lessons are enhanced with the use of these dice.
Pair the directional dice with a white 10-sided die for a fun
orienteering activity. The child
rolls both dice and then takes the indicated number of steps in the indicated
direction.
Fraction Dice Fraction dice are available in two styles. The first style has the following fractions 1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, and 1/6. The second style has 1/10, 2/10, 3/10, 4/10, 5/10, 6/10, 7/10, 8/10, 9/10, and 10/10.Operational Dice Operation dice are 6-sided dice that come in two styles. dice have a different geometric shape on each side, the animal dice have six
different animals and the transportation dice have six different examples of

Bone Dice Dice that are shaped like the backbone vertebra are also available and add a unique point of interest when used during a study of the body or fossils.Color Dice The color dice are large 6-sided dice that are marked with color spots instead of numbers. These are large wooden dice that are perfect for the younger students in the class. Include the die with a basket of colored items and have the child pick the item that corresponds to the color on the die. This die is also good for teacher made board games.Natural Wooden Dice The natural wooden dice are large 6-sided dice utilizing black dots instead of numerals.Double Dice The double dice come in four colors: green, yellow, blue and red. They consist of a transparent outer die with a smaller die inside. By rolling just one die, a child can create their own math equations. For example, by rolling the red double die (red=addition) a child would add the outer number with the inner number.
